Company History

For over eight decades, Craft Oil Corporation has been servicing business and industry.

Craft Oil started its lubricant business with Quaker State Motor Oil in 1925 and is now the oldest Quaker State distributor in the country. The business has grown from its inception when glass bottles were used for motor oil to being the largest bulk motor oil distributor in the region. As Craft Oil grew, so did its selection of brands, which now houses the finest mix of lubricants in the business.

Craft Oil was founded by Arnold Craft, Sr., then managed by his children. In 1980, Richard K. Mangan purchased the business from the Craft Family. Mr. Mangan focused the business on growth in bulk motor oil, brand and program selection.

Craft Oil continues as a family business today, which has successfully transitioned to its second generation of the “Mangan Mills” Family. Maureen Mangan Mills, CEO joined the business in 1996 and Bob Mills, President in 2000. Together they have vastly expanded the company. The Company is certified as a “women owned business” and is 100% owned by Maureen and Bob.
